- Q: Is the Gold version the old premium version? So, is the app/subscription free?
A: The Blue Connect Gold is the successor of the previous Blue Connect Plus. However, it is not exactly a “premium version with free app”. The functionality is now integrated in the current Fluidra ecosystem, and depending on the app/version used, certain advanced features may still require a subscription. - Q: How does the buoy connect to the network? Does it support SigFox, or does it only use WiFi and BT?
A: The connectivity depends on the version. The device always supports Bluetooth. Depending on the model and region, it may use SigFox and/or WiFi. The newer generation is increasingly focused on WiFi connectivity, with reduced dependency on SigFox.
